Frequently Asked Questions

Common installation questions answered

How long does installation take?
The base installer takes 30โ€“60 seconds. Initial model download depends on your internet speed and model selection (2โ€“50 GB).
Do I need a GPU?
No. KlawAqua-AGI runs on CPU by default. A GPU (NVIDIA CUDA or Apple Metal) significantly improves inference speed for larger models.
Can I run it offline?
Yes. After the initial install and model download, KlawAqua-AGI runs fully offline. Network is only needed for updates and the plugin marketplace.
How do I update?
Linux/macOS: run kayago update. Windows: run the updater from the Start Menu. Docker: pull the latest image with docker compose pull && docker compose up -d.
Is Docker better than native install?
Docker is great for consistent environments and CI/CD. Native install provides better GPU passthrough and lower latency. Choose native for daily use, Docker for deployment/testing.
How do I uninstall?
Run kayago uninstall on Linux/macOS. On Windows, use "Add or Remove Programs". For Docker: docker compose down -v.
